AssetMantle Chain went live with the mainnet on 18th April 2022 with a limited set of genesis validators to ensure maximum stability and the best experience for delegating integrations and community building.
Genesis Foundation Delegation Program – An Overview
- The program’s goal was to provide delegations from Foundation Pool to the selected set of validators based on the contributions and overall performance in the PoS ecosystem.
- Delegations Provided via the program were majorly stable but just a few changes due to the inactive and poor performance overall.
- Now that we are nearing the first evaluation cycle of 3 months, the team would evaluate the performance and proceed with redelegations, and further invite other validators.
Post-Genesis Foundation Delegation
AssetMantle foundation’s delegation program will continue to support committed validators who have been actively contributing toward AssetMantle growth.
Key things which might be of interest to the team
- Proven track record of good performance in the PoS ecosystem.
- Dedicated team to ensure quick turnaround during upgrades/optimizations
- Technical Contributions in building Tools, MantleModules, Wallets, Toolings, and Analytics for NFTs
- Integrations with existing wallets, explorers, chains, etc.
- Community Contributions in organizing events, hosting twitter spaces, creating sub-culture in local communities, content creation in the form of videos, blogs, etc.
- Ensure high availability with more than 97% uptime overall at all the existing chains supported by a validator
- Strategic partnerships toward technical contributions, investments, and community expansion
Although everyone is welcome to apply for the foundation delegation, there are some prerequisites that every application must meet:
- Staking Commission to be a minimum of 2%, but no more than 10%
- Use of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
- A dedicated team
- A validator node should be set up on MantleChain following the post-genesis instructions provided here

- 4th April – Applications Open for Genesis Foundation Delegation
- 18th April – Mainnet live
- 19th April – Delegations Provided
- 4th July – Periodic Evaluation
- 11th July – Applications Open for Post-Genesis Foundation Delegation
- 11th July – Proposal to increase the validator set and retire one of the foundation nodes
- 18th July – Evaluation of the Applications
- 19th July Onwards – Delegations/Redelegations to the selected set of validators
The Mantle team’s vision for the chain is to become a fully community-governed and truly decentralized chain for the next two years. Adding these new validator spots will help increase active participation from the community and further diversify the validator set to enhance chain security.

Delegations Mechanism
- The active validator set will kickstart with 50 at the genesis and further increase as per the periodic evaluation cycle.
- Quarterly evaluation of the validators, retire one of the foundation nodes and further increase the validator set.
- The applications received will be evaluated, and based on the internal review and rank, each validator will be allocated a specific tier.
- Delegations allocated to each tier would be strictly based on the total delegations planned per the program.
- For the Post-Genesis Foundation Delegation Program 1, the distribution looks as follows.
