Whilst working directly with the AssetMantle genesis creators the team has been on an incredible journey, seeing so much passion and artistic talent from artists has inspired the Mantle team to push on with development and deliver the best Interchain NFT marketplace possible. AssetMantle has announced partnerships with 30+ Generative collections packed with utilities and 150+ 1/1 creators with projects. The Mantle team is thrilled to be at the stage in the development of the Mantleplace platform where the team can give the community a glimpse into what to expect over the coming weeks.
Airdrops ready for creators
As the Mantle team is nearing the launch of the Mantleplace platform the Airdrop for the Mantle creators has now been initiated. The current phase of Airdrop is for the Projects of all sizes that will be launching on the AssetMantle ‘LaunchPad’. $MNTL Reserves for Genesis Creators
In addition to the above drops, there are special reserves allocated to the genesis creators that include the following:
Grant opportunities governed by the community to top collections/projects willing to launch on AssetMantle
Rewards distribution for Genesis mint to whitelisted projects, creators, and collectors
All the unclaimed $MNTL tokens in the creator reserves will be going to the community treasury to have the retroactive rewards distributed to the MantlePlace users.

Mechanism:
The Airdrop for Creators launching their projects on the AssetMantler Launchpad will be divided into two phases:
| Phase 1 – Mini Drop (40%) | Phase 2 – The EndGame (60%) |
| This will be the first installment of airdrop that will be awarded to the creators as soon as the Metadata for their projects is verified and the collection becomes visible on MantlePlace | This is the second and final phase of the creator airdrop, awarded close to their project’s mint date. |
Distributions
The Creator Airdrop has been divided into different tiers of projects. The team has decided the tiers for the project based on Community building, Support to AssetMantle Ecosystem, the Team, and past works, among many other factors. The major bifurcation is
1) Generative Projects
These tend to be high-mint numbered collections, where the creators will design various different sets or attributes or features such as Heads, Eyes or clothing then will run these through a randomizer and the attributes will combine to make a set of several thousand fully unique NFTs. The benefit of this process is that even the team behind the project do not know which attributes or features will be combined.
2) Handmade Collections
Whilst Handmade collections are actually fully individualized unique NFTs that are each created by the Artist on a 1 of 1 basis, these collections tend to be much smaller due to the artist having to personally put each piece together and are sometimes favored by the NFT community as there is a decision behind the placement of each item in the NFT.
The journey towards the mint
Above is a detailed six-week timeline of AssetMantle’s journey to becoming a fully active thriving, interchain NFT ecosystem. The table is split into three sections with separate but complementary roadmaps for the MNTL token, the Mantleplace platform, and the chain itself. By executing along this roadmap the Mantle team will ensure every aspect of the project is ready for launch and work with NFT creators to ensure their collections are finished and ready to mint.
